JAKARTA, 17 September 2025 – The Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO), in collaboration with the Katalis-supported Indonesia Australia Skills Exchange (IASE), has successfully concluded a four-month series of world-class online training programs aimed at boosting workplace capabilities and leadership in Indonesia.
From June to September 2025, more than 700 professionals from across multiple industries participated in monthly webinars delivered by leading Australian registered training organisations, covering: “Leadership in the Workplace” (DeakinCo), “Mental Health in the Workplace” (Phoenix Australia), “Leading Championship Teams” (Rapid Teams), and “Project Management Fundamentals” (University of New England Partnerships).
The series offered participants access to practical tools, real-world case studies, and interactive learning directly from Australian experts, in line with the Indonesia-Australia Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA) commitment to strengthening vocational education and workforce readiness in Indonesia.
Shinta Kamdani, Chair, APINDO, said, “The collaboration between APINDO and IASE demonstrates that international partnerships can deliver globally certified trainings relevant to the needs of the Indonesian workforce. This initiative expands access to quality skills while strengthening the competitiveness of the Indonesian workforce in the global market. APINDO believes that improving human resource capacity is key to productivity and sustainable growth. Therefore, we are committed to playing our part to drive workforce competitiveness as the foundation for Indonesia Emas 2045. Together with our international partners, we are optimistic that the Indonesian workforce will become more adaptive, innovative, and competitive globally.”

By connecting Australian training providers with Indonesian professionals through the Indonesia Australia Skills Exchange, we are not only building workforce capability but also deepening the IndonesiaAustralia partnership in skills development.”
