Bilateral Opportunity Assessment for Finance Sector/Value Chain

About the Engagement
The financial advisory firm will identify, scope, and provide technical expertise on strategic, bilateral business partnership opportunities in the Finance sector/value chain. The selected firm will leverage its existing networks to engage the business community in Australia and Indonesia while providing research, insights and advice about opportunities for increased trade and investment between the two countries in the finance sector.

About Katalis:
The Governments of Indonesia and Australia have entered into the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA), creating a framework to unlock the vast potential of the bilateral economic relationship. To support this ambition, the IA-CEPA includes a new program – IA-CEPA ECP Katalis (Katalis). The primary objective of Katalis is to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of IA-CEPA to increase two-way trade and investment that is broad based and inclusive

Overview of the Project:
The selected firm will generate five or more commercial activity concepts in collaboration with identified potential beneficiaries (businesses, business groups or other organisations) to receive complementary support from Katalis (phase 1), which may be expanded to detailed Activity Proposals (phase 2). The concepts will focus on identifying potential beneficiary businesses interested in receiving complementary support from Katalis for commercial activity in the finance sector/value chain between Indonesia and Australia and/or between Indonesia and third-party markets using Australian inputs.

About the Firm/Company:
This assignment will be awarded to a reputable consulting firm with an excellent track record of working with the finance sector and have a deep understanding of the sector and its related value chains, as well as deep knowledge of Indonesian and Australian businesses involved in the sector/value chains.

Zoom link and time to this online pre-tender briefing will be informed later, but will be held on or prior to Friday, 19 August 2022.
