Australian RTOs and/or HEPs - Developing Customised Course Content to be Offered on Indonesian Digital Platforms
About the Engagement
Katalis is seeking multiple Australian Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and/or Higher Education Providers (HEPs) to develop customised course content to be offered on Indonesian digital platforms. Katalis is brokering legally binding contracts between Indonesian digital platforms (‘Beneficiaries’) and a number of Australian RTOs and/or HEPs. The selected Australian RTOs and/or HEPs will develop course content that is customised to the demands of the Beneficiaries’ customer bases, ranging from corporate clients to individuals. The developed courses shall address skills needs in sectors specified by the Beneficiaries. Several sectors have been identified including tourism and hospitality, health, digital economy, manufacturing, and agriculture. More sectors may be added based on market research. The detail of the course requirements is subject to further negotiation with the Beneficiaries and their customers’ needs.
About Katalis:
The Governments of Indonesia and Australia have entered into the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA), creating a framework to unlock the vast potential of the bilateral economic relationship. To support this ambition, the IA-CEPA includes a new program – IA-CEPA ECP Katalis (Katalis). The primary objective of Katalis is to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of IA-CEPA to increase two-way trade and investment that is broad- based and inclusive.
Overview of the Project:
Katalis has identified an opportunity for Australian RTOs and HEPs to enter and expand to the Indonesian market, by delivering customised training to Indonesian digital businesses (Katalis’s ‘Beneficiaries’) and onboarding the customised training content to Indonesian digital platforms, supporting them to diversify their service offerings. Through this opportunity, Australian RTOs and/or HEPs will be contracted to develop customised course content in specified areas in response to Indonesian industry needs. The developed course content will then be offered on and sold via the digital platforms. In doing so, Katalis will broker partnerships between the Beneficiaries and multiple Australian RTOs and/or HEPs, providing mutual benefit to Indonesia (by providing greater access to human resource development opportunities) and to Australia (by allowing skills providers to enter the market in an efficient and scalable manner).
