Business Opportunity Details, Costs, and Risks - Step 4 of 7

What is your commercial business opportunity idea ?
What are the supporting activities required for your business opportunity?

Achieving your business opportunity vision will require several supporting activities. Katalis works by collaborating with beneficiaries on an agreed set of supporting activities, some of which Katalis will fund (either directly or else via a third party “implementing partner”), and others which the beneficiary will fund/support themselves (as part of the Katalis co-contribution requirement). For example, your business opportunity may be to “investigate entering the Indonesian or Australian market”. Investigating the Indonesian or Australian market may include the supporting activities of “conducting desk research” and “conducting a market entry study tour/visit”. This may work with you, as the beneficiary, funding one of these activities yourself (co-contribution), and Katalis funding the other activity. The below questions will ask you to consider these aspects in more detail.

Type of supporting activities

What supporting activities do you believe are required to achieve the vision you have for your business opportunity? The following are just an indicative guide of the kinds of supporting activities you may wish to pursue. Please check if any of these apply to your business opportunity or specify in “other” (multiple checking possible).

Market access activity

Market integration activity
