Trade between Indonesia and Australia remains strong amid global uncertainties from geopolitical conflicts and protectionism. In the second quarter of 2025, bilateral merchandise (goods) trade reached USD2.9 billion. Although this was a 6% increase from the previous quarter, it was also a 4% drop year-on-year (YoY). Overall merchandise trade flows remain robust.
