Healthcare is the most developed ‘care’ sector in Indonesia and Australia.  It is also a sector with showcase examples of the potential benefits of enhanced trade and investment between the two countries. These include investment in healthcare infrastructure, labour, training and capacity building, provision of furniture, equipment and health and safety supplies as well as joint research and development initiatives. In addition, the medical tourism sector in Bali presents interesting opportunities for collaboration.
